Bowling is a great game which many people find fun and it can also be a real stress and tension reliever. Today, over 100 million bowlers play in over 90 different countries. In 1930, British anthropologist Sir Flinders Petrie along with a team of archaeologists discovered various primitive bowling balls, bowling pins and other materials in the grave of an Egyptian boy dating to 3200 BC, which was over 5200 years ago. Their discovery represents the earliest known historical trace of bowling.
A lot of people belong to bowling leagues for the comradeship that a team sport offers. One way I don't think many people have thought of bowling is as a safe weight loss tool. Bowling can be a family sport that the whole family can participate in. Safe weight loss is a concern with children and teens. Bowling can be part of a safe weight loss program for teens and younger children. In bowling you move many of your body muscles. For those of us who are not overly fond of exercise, bowling is a fun way to move those body parts, burn calories and get some good circulation in doing it. Being on a weekly bowling team can give you companionship, relieve stress and become part of your weight loss program. It would take care of one day of a 20 minute workout.
Even if there are claims out there, there is no such thing as a quick fix, as far as weight loss is concerned. Meaning, hard work, together with any program or product, is needed for successful weight loss achieveme
