Cure Lice With Tea Tree Oil

Head lice are an extremely common problem among children. They are considered to be the most likely to pick up a lice infestation between the ages of three and ten. Unfortunately this problem very rarely just stays with a single child. It will inevitably spread to their families, friends, and classmates if no action is taken to kill the lice. Louse are a parasitic creature that lives on the hair of warm blooded animals. There are only a few species of lice that live on humans. The most common one, head lice, spread at an exponential rate every single year. It is commonly believed that head lice are a worldwide endemic among children. It is important that we cure the lice infestation. A great way to do it is with Tea Tree Oil.

A head lice infestation is fairly easy to identify. Though a louse(singular for lice) is very small, roughly the size of a sesame seed, they are not impossible to spot. Many lice infestations are not spotted with a quick visual examination however. Lice feed on the blood of their host, not unlike mosquitoes, and leave behind sores and bumps. The insect leaves behind a small amount of saliva which causes an allergic reaction and irritates the skin. These sores will itch and sometimes hurt. These bite marks can be found on the neck and scalp area of the individual.

Using tea tree oil is a great start to begin removing lice. It is not exactly something most people have around the house but it is a great natural remedy for removing a infestation. It will also be nice to have it around, after you have acquired a bottle, for future use.

Tea tree oil is a natural fungicide and can be quite effective at killing lice. It may not be effective in all situations however and it may be a good idea to buy a modern product specifically made for killing lice. Some of these products are even made entirely with natural ingredients.
